Hue Festival 2012, the international event being held for its seventh edition in Thua Thien Hue Province is set as the highlight for the National Tourism Year 2012. It is also to commemorate the 325th anniversary of Phu Xuan (Hue) when it was chosen as the capital of “Dang Trong” (the southern region of Vietnam) by Lord Nguyen Phuc Thai, and later as the country’s capital under the Tay Son Dynasty and the Nguyen Dynasty.
The event is designated as the platform for the cultural exchange initiative of the Forum for East Asia and Latin America Cooperation.
Hue Festival 2012 will be launched on Saturday, April 7, 2012 and concluded on Sunday evening of April 15, 2012.
Hue Festival 2012 will showcase distinctive performances of Vietnam, exceptionally Hue royal arts, glamorous presentations from different Vietnamese sub-cultures, and performances with cultural nuances by more than 20 leading art troupes from many countries of the five continents.
Hue Festival 2012 will continue to re-enact unique royal ceremonies together with a wide range of unprecedented and exciting community events.

DAY 1 (7th April, 2012): HANOI – HUE (D)
Morning: Vietnam Green Tous’ tour guide and driver pick up and transfer to the airport for flight at 12:20 to Hue. Upon arrival, check-in hotel and relax.
Afternoon: Explore Hue City or enjoy Massive Street Arts Performers. Have a dinner
Evening: Enjoy the artistic program of Grand Opening Ceremony at 20:00
Stay overnight in Hue.
DAY 2 (8th April, 2012): HUE CITY (B/D)
Day-time: Have a breakfast. Explore Hue City or enjoy Massive Street Arts Performers. Have a dinner.
Evening: Enjoy “Oriental Night” show (The price excludes). Other option is exploring boat trip on Huong River and join in flower drop lights.
Stay overnight in Hue.
DAY 3 (9th April, 2012): HUE CITY (B/D)
Day-time: Have a breakfast. Explore Hue City or enjoy Massive Street Arts Performers. Have a dinner.
Evening: Enjoy “Ao dai” grand show at 20:00 or Massive Street Arts performances.
Stay overnight in Hue.
DAY 4 (10th April, 2012): HUE CITY (B/D)
Day-time: Have a breakfast. Explore Hue City or enjoy Massive Street Arts Performers. Have a dinner.
Afternoon: Enjoy a lunch. Check-out hotel. Transfer to Phu Bai Airport for flight at 14:20 to Hanoi. Upon arrival, tour end.
